THIS INDENTURE made the tenth Day of February in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirteen between WILLIAM EGERTON of the County of Garrard in the State of Kentucky of the one part and JOSEPH HEADRICK of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said WILLIAM EGERTON for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the _____ and delivery of these presants the Receipt whereof hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and unto the said JOSEPH HEADRICK a certain tract and parcel of land situated lying, and being in the County of Garrard aforesaid. Beginning at a hickory (corner torn from page) near a Branch in MICHAEL WOODS line continuing thence along said line N 132 poles to and oak and two Dogwoods comes to JAMES TULEY thence along said Tuleys line corssing a branch to a spanish oak on a ridge thence along the Ridge and a parth to the fork of the path thence along the right and path to JAMES CICILS line to a Stake thence along said Cicils line to a corner thence South to a Corner, thence east 150 poles to the Beginning, containing sixty acres more or less. To have and to hold the said tract of land with the appertinances unto the said JOSEPH HEADRICK and his heirs forever to his and their _____ use and the said WILLIAM EGERTON for himself and his heirs do ____ and agree to and with the said JOSEPH HEADRICK and his heirs the said tract of land with it appertinances unto the said JOSEPH HEADRICK his heirs and assigns forever against the same of all and every person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and defend, In witness whereof the said WILLIAM EGERTON had hereunto set his hand and seal the Day and date above Witness.

I hereby certify that this indenture of bargain and sale _____ WILLIAM EGERTON to JOSEPH HEDRICK ____ (tear in page) acknowledged before me in my office the 15th day of February 1813 by said WILLIAM EGERTON and the same for a title to thes ame and all witnesses signed, all money colected and receipted for all ____ of ay desception made by the said Seller My agent, _____ all be as binding appearance and ____ done the same in my ____ _____ In testimony whereof I have hereunto sat my hand, affixed my seal this the 17th day of May 1813,
