THIS INDENTURE made the 3rd day of August in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and
thirteen Between JAMES BRIGHT of the County of Garrard and State of Kentucky of the one part and PETER HEADRICK
of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said JAMES BRIGHT for an in
consideration of the sum of Two hundred and sixty five Dollars to him in hand paid By him the said PETER
HEADRICK at and before the ____ and Delivering of these presents the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged Hath
granted bargained and sold unto the said PETER HEADRICK a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and
being in the County and State aforesaid it Being part of the tract of land whereon the said James Bright now
lives adjoining the land of the said PETER HEADRICK and SAMUEL MULLINS Beginning at a read oak Corner to the
said PETER HEADRICK and SAMUEL MULLINS and Running thence West forty poles to a locust on a ridge thence North
one hundred poles to a ____ and NATHAN PULIAMS line thence East forty poles to a read oak Corner to PULIAM and
KERSY thence South one hundred poles to the Beginning Containing Twenty-five Acres with all the estate rights
title interest hereditiments ____ appendages and appertenances thereunto Belonging or in any wise appertaining
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all and singular the appertenancesthereunto belonging
to him the said PETER HEADRICK and his heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use and Behoof free and
clear of all and every legal claim and demand of him the said JAMES BRIGHT or his heirs or all and every other
person or persons whosoever Will forever Warrant and Defend. In Witness whereof the said JAMES BRIGHT had
hereunto set his hand and seal the Day and year above written.

I hereby certify that this Indenture of bargain and sale from JAMES BRIGHT to PETER HADRICK was acknowledged
