I, William Forsee of Franklin County state of Kentucky considering the uncertainty of life being at present of sound and disposing mind and memory and desirous to make disposition
of such property as it hat pleased God to bless one with. I do hereby make this my last will and testament hereby revolking all others made or attempted to be made having heretofore
made considerable advances to my children and being desirous what they should equally share that portion of my estate given and designed for them with the exception herein after
contained and with the view to avoid further difficulty I have set ___ the advances heretofore made them and affix the value thereof.
I have given to my son George S. Forsee at sundry times one negro woman called Mary, one negro boy called Philip, one bed and furniture, one horse bridle saddle, cows, sheep,
hogs worth in all eight hundred and sixty dollars.  I have given my son James Forsee one negro woman called Phillis, one negro girl called Lucy, one bed and furniture, one horse bridle
and saddle, cows, sheep and hogs worth in all eight hundred and fifty five dollars.  I have given to my son, Stephen Forsee one negro woman called Kesiah, one negro boy called Reuben,
one bed and furniture, one horse saddle and bridle, cows, sheep and hogs and have paid for him to William Gerrad one note amounting to $18-75 and to Theoderick Bouleware the sum
of 64 in discharge of another note amounting in all to the sum of nine hundred and thirty two dollars and seventy five cents.  I have given to my daughter Esther Bryan the negro woman
called Ester, one negro girl called Eby, one bed and furniture, one horse bridle and saddle, cattle, sheep, and hogs amounting in all to the sum of eight hundred and fifty dollars. I have
given to my son William B. Forsee one negro woman named Harriet, one negro girl named Theodosia, one bed and furniture, two horses a saddle and bridle, cattle, sheep, and hogs
amounting in all to the sum of eight hundred and fifty dollars.  I have given to my daughter Polly Macey one negro woman called Mariah, one negro girl called Isabella, one bed and furniture,
one horse saddle and bridle, cattle, sheep and hogs amounting in the whole to the sum of eight hundred and fifty dollars.  I have given to my son Anthony R. Forsee one negro woman
called Susan, one bed and furniture, one horse saddle and bridle, cattle hogs and sheep and my promissory note of this date for the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars making in all the
sum of eight hundred and fifty dollars.  I have given to my son Peter M. Forsee on negro woman called Judith, one horse, one bed and furniture, the one half interest in the boy called
Bristow and other property amounting in the whole to the sum of eight hundred and fifty one dollars.  I have given to my daughter Jane Rees one negro woman called Paulina, on bed and
furniture, one saddle bridle, cattle, sheep and hogs the one half of my boy Bristow and some money amounting in the whole to the sum of eight hundred and eighty dollars.  I desire that
after my death that ll my just debts be paid.  I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Judith the one equal share part of such personal estate as I may die possessed of which shall remain
in the hands of my Executors after the payment of my debts and the one third of my land and slaves for and during the period of her life to be laid off to her by my Executors or commissioners
to be appointed by the county court for that purpose.  I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Rees three hundred dollars over and above her equal portion of my estate as distributed
with my other children.  I will and desire that after my death that my Executors shall sell and dispose of all my estate real and person and father the payment of any debts and the specific
legacies herein to distribute the remainder among all my children their heirs making them equal taking into the estimate the forgiving advances made by me, but I leave it to the discretion
of my said Executors whether or not to sell my land and ___ immediately after my death or to postpone the same until after the death of my wife if she should survive me provided however
it is my desire that after my death my said Executors shall have all my said slaves valued and they or any other of my children whom they may thing proper to sell to may take ___ of said
slaves at valuation to be sold and held by them for and during the terms of their lives and then to be held by their children.  My object being what they shall not be sold out of my family
should I hereafter make any advances to any of my children my desire is that such advances be taken into account  in the final distribution of my estate and stand charged to them.  
Lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint my son George S. Forsee and my son in-law Farmer Rees, Executors of this my last will and testament.  In witness where of I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal this 21st day of April 1835.

Franklin County October Court 1839
The last will and testament of William Forsee, deceased was produced in court and proven by the oaths of Lewis Sanders, Jr. and Bernard Dougherty the subscribing witnesses thereto

and ordered to be recorded which is done accordingly.

I William Forsee, Sr. of Franklin County, Kentucky do make and ordain this my codicil to my will heretofore made by me on the 21st day of April 1835, Viz:  My will and devise is that
certain property conveyed by me to my children and in trust for my daughter-in-law Lettitia Forsee and her children by deed bearing date on the ___ day of March 1837 shall not be
charged or taken as advancement. And, whereas I am anxious that my said daughter-in-law Lettitia Forsee and her children; Ann Martin Forsee, John Forsee, Samuel Forsee, Isabella
Forsee, George Forsee, Mary Forsee and Martha and any other children she may have by my son William Forsee (who is her husband)  May always receive a comfortable support and
for that purpose change my will within that I hereby revoke so much thereof as gave any part of my estate to my son William Forsee and do hereby will and bequeath all that my said
son William would have taken under the same unto my son George S. Forsee interest for the sold and exclusive use comfort and support of the said Lettitia and her said children now
born or to be born as aforesaid and the survivor or survivors of them free from all manner of control of her said husband of free from and not subject to any contracts he may have hereto
of may hereafter make. And the said George S. Forsee is hereby authorized and empowered to dispose of the personal estate hereby bequeathed  and the rent of property of real estate
hereby bequeathed and devised from time to time and in such manner as he may judge will be the most conducive to the comfort and support of the said Lettitia and her said children
and I also make this said George S. Forsee and my son-in-law Farmer Rees executor of this codicil.  Witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 9th day of March 1837.

Franklin County Court January Term 1840
A codicil to the last will and testament of William Forsee, deceased was produced in Court by George Forsee and was proven by the oath of Edward Herndon and Bernard Dougherty

which is ordered to be recorded and the same is duly recorded in my office.
