I, William Callery of Frankfort, Kentucky do make this my last will and testament. 1. I desire that all my just debts be paid. 2. I desire that my Executors hereafter named expend upon my funeral _____ for my soul and a monument over my grave a sum not exceeding, but equal to one thousand dollars. 3. I devise to my beloved wife Ellen Callery the house and lot on which I now reside on Market Street in Frankfort, Kentucky for and during her life time to include the saloon and all appurtenances and all the furniture in the house. I also devise to her two thousand five hundred dollars. 4. I devise to my nephew Jno... Callery the house and lot I own on St. Clair Street in Frankfort to him and his heirs forever, but having leased the same to Adam Kahr for about ten years by verbal contract I desire that he shall not be distributed; he paying a reasonable price therefore to my said nephew. 5. I devise to my friend Peter Bath of Ireland one hundred dollars if he dead then this devise shall be void. 6. I devise to my brother Jno... Callery one thousand dollars. 7. I devise to my niece Molly Callery four hundred dollars. 8. The residue of my estate real and personal I devise to my brothers Michael Callery and John Callery, but if my brother Jno. Callery be not living at my death then the residue of my estate real and personal I devise to Michael Callery my brother and his heirs forever. I direct that the real estate I have be kept insured and in good repair during my wifes life time. I appoint Michael Callery my Executor to carry out my will.
