In the name of God Amen, I, Susan Crutcher, do make this my last will and testament.
First,  I wish all my just debts and funeral expenses are paid.
2and, I give to Doctor Those. K. Iles? of Midway, Kentucky one hundred dollars.
3rd,  I give to James Ships children in Virginia one third of my estate.
4th,  I give to Susan Alley of Frankfort, Kentucky one third of my estate.
5th,  I also give to Rebeckah Montague of Midway, Kentucky the remaining one third of my estate, which consist of a house and lot in Midway, Woodford County, Kentucky
and cash notes and money.  And, I wish Nelson Alley, appointed my executor to carry out this will signed sealed this 1st day of September 1854.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Susan Crutcher, decd.. was this day produced in Court and was proven by the oaths of James Shannon and Ben C. Milam,
subscribing witnesses and ordered to be recorded.  Whereupon the same is truly recorded.
