In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, Amen. I, Nicholas Flynn now of sound mind, but inform and advanced in years make this my last will and testament. 1. I will and bequeath to Mrs. John Buttimer, nee Jane Flynn, a house and lot situated in South Frankfort and now occupied by James Wright (carpenter). 2. I will and bequeath on hundred dollars to Annie Flynn and also one hundred dollars to Lizzie Flynn my nieces and also to Agnes Flynn now, Mrs. James Sullivan. 3. I will and bequeath one hundred dollars to Patrick Flynn and one hundred dollars to Thomas Flynn, son of my cousin Jimmie Flynn. 4. I will and bequeath one hundred dollars to Betty Flynn, daughter of John Flynn, Woodford County. 5. I direct that the sum of $300.00, three hundred dollars to be set aside for funeral expenses, hearse, etc, half lot in Catholic ground and tombstone the latter to cost fifty dollars and the remainder of the above sum to be given to Rev. L. Young or his successor in office for ____ to be offered for the repose of my soul. 6. I will and bequeath one hundred dollars to the Catholic Church edifice or the Church of the Good Shepherd at Frankfort, Ky to be paid to Rev. L. Young or his successor in office. 7. The remainder of my real and personal estate which may be left at my death, I direct to be given to my heirs at law herein mentioned, be only those mentioned in this will. 8. I appoint John Buttimer, Executor of this my last will and testament and direct that no bond be required of him. In testimony whereof I hereunto affix my signature this 6th day of December 1888.
