I, Mary Paxton, widow and relict of James Paxton, deceased of Franklin County, deceased, do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following that
is to say:
1st.  I will and bequeath to John E. Paxton a certain tract of land in Franklin County adjoining the land of Madison Blakemore and the Mount Tabor Church lot containing
about eleven acres more or less, it being a portion of my father's land, to be enjoyed by him forever.
2nd.  After the payment of m y debts and funeral expenses I will and bequeath to Jno. E. Paxton's children all my personal estate consisting of cattle, hogs, sheep, beds,
bedsteads and clothing of all kinds, household and kitchen furniture and my wearing apparel, and I give to Thos. E. Paxton my gray mare.
3rd.  All the rest of or residue of my estate real, personal and mixed not herein before particularly disposed of I desire may be given to Jno. E. Paxton's children.  And, lastly
I do hereby constitute John E. Paxton, Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 18th day of
February 1852.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Mary Paxton, deceased was produced in Court and was proved by the oaths of Thomas Farmer and Benedict Farmer
the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded, which is truly done.
