I Langston Bacon of the town of Frankfort and State of Kentucky, do make, and ordain this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all and singular and every will by me
heretofore made. I desire and direct all my just debts to be paid, after the payment of all my just debts, I devise to my daughter Martha A. Bacon, Two thousand Dollars, to
Joicey P. Bacon, two Thousand Dollars, to Sarah Bacon two thousand dollars, and to Mary Bacon Two thousand dollars, to my son Robert P. Bacon one thousand and sixty
19/100 dollars being the amount he is now indebted to me, and Five hundred dollars in addition thereto. I devise to my beloved wife Sarah Bacon, my dwelling house and lots in
the town of Frankfort, the household and kitchen furniture and four slaves named Jack, Henry, Reuben and William during her natural life, and hereby vest her with right to sell
any part of the said lots, buildings, slaves or household goods that she may deem necessary or proper. And at her death and out of the proceeds of said lots buildings, household
goods that she may deem necessary or proper, and at her death out of the proceeds of the said lots, buildings, household good, and slaves, I designate my Grand son William
TS Bacon one thousand dollars, the remainder thereof to be equally divided, between my daughter Martha A. Bacon Josie P Bacon Sarah Bacon and Mary Bacon. In the event
of the death of my Grandson William S Bacon I devise the amount here allowed to him, to be given to my four daughters before named Martha A., Josie P, Sarah and Mary.
Having heretofore aided my sons Giles S Bacon and Langston Bacon, I now devise to them all the debts due to me, excepting the amount due from them to me. I appoint
my son Langston M and Giles S Bacon Trustees for Will S Bacon my Grandson and authorize them to invest the one thousand dollars for his benefit in any way the may deem
most adviseable and proper. I hereby nominate and appoint my sons Giles S Bacon and Langston M Bacon sole executors of this last will and Testament and vest them with
full power, to sell and dispose of and convey any part of my estate when real personal or mixed under the wishes above expressed, and request that no security be required of
them by the County Court upon their qualifying as my Executors. Frankfort April 19th 1847.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Langston Bacon decd. was produced in Court and was proven by the oaths of Ambrose W. Dudley and John L. Moore
the subscribing witnesses thereto which is ordered to be recorded. Whereupon the said will is truly recorded in my office.
