In the name of Almighty God, by whom I hope for the resurrection of the just at the last day.  I, John Ryan of Franklin County, Kentucky being of sound mind and disposing

memory and knowing the uncertainty of human life and desiring to dispose of all the worldly estate with which it has pleased God to bless me do hereby make and publish
this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills in manner and form following to wit:
1st. I hereby given and bequeath unto my wife, Eliza all my real and personal estate during her life and that she remain on my homestead so long as suits her to do so, and

in the event she should become dissatisfied and wishing to locate her homestead somewhere else she be at liberty to do so as she may think best for her happiness while
living and if she should conclude to sell the homestead consisting of one hundred and five acres of land more or less and that she and my four children unite in the sale and
conveyance of deed to said real estate and they so purchase a homestead whenever my wife wishes and thinks she can do best for her happiness while living the purchased
real estate or homestead to remain her during her life and at her death all my real estate and personal property to be divided as follows to wit: to my son, Michael, I give and
bequeath to him two fifths of all my real estate and personal estate and to my three daughters, namely; Ann, Bridget and Elizabeth the remaining three fifths of all my real and
personal estate to be divided equally between them, or other words that my son, Michael shall have two dollars to each of my daughters one dollar each and so as until all is
fully divided,  Witness my hand this 22 day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight and eighty.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John Ryan, decd. was produced to court and proven by the oaths of J. B. F. Stigers and John C. Sudduth the subscribing

witnesses thereto.  Whereupon it was ordered that said will be recorded , which is done.
