In the name of God amen, John Oliver, Senior of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky, being of weak in body, but of sound mind and memory and knowing that
it is ordained that all men must die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament to  wit:
Item 1 - I give, bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Elizabeth if she should survive me, five hundred dollars to be raised and paid to her out of my estate, her horse saddle
and bridle, bed bedstead and furniture and curtains with a double set of clothing also her carpet and one negro girl to be chosen by her to wait on her.  The property above
named after the death of my said wife is to return to my estate and be divided among my children and grandchildren or such of them as my survive her and the heirs of such
of them as may be dead at the time of her death.  That is to say, my grandchildren are to have such share as their father or mother would be entitled to.
Item 2 - I have heretofore advanced to my son John the sum of six hundred dollars.  I now hereby devise and bequeath to him the sum of two hundred dollars to be paid to him
out of my estate.
Item 3 - I have heretofore given to my granddaughter Catharine Church the sum of three hundred.  I now hereby devise and bequeath to her the sum of one hundred dollars to
be paid out of my estate.
Item 4 - I give and bequeath to my grandson John Church out of my estate the sum of four hundred dollars to be paid to him out of my estate.
Item 5 - I give and bequeath to my son Willis Oliver the sum of eight hundred dollars to be paid to him out of my estate.
Item 6 - I give and devise and bequeath to my son Rice W. Oliver the sum of eight hundred dollars to be paid out of my estate.  I also give, devise and bequeath unto my son
Rice W. Oliver the tract of land whereon I now reside with its appurtenances to him, his heirs and assigns forever.
Item 7 - After the payment of the several sums of money by me in this will devised and directed to be paid out of my estate, it is my desire that the remainder of my personal
estate and slaves if any shall remain, shall be equally divided among my children and grandchildren before named and their heirs the said Catharine Church and John Church
taking one share between them.
I hereby constitute and appoint my son Rice W. Oliver executor of this my last will and testament and do hereby request that he pay the several legacies contained in this will
out of my slaves and personal estate and in case my said son Rice should fail or refuse to act, it is my desire that sons John and Willis act as executors of this my last will
heretofore by me made.  I have hereto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this tenth day of  December eighteen hundred and thirty three.

The last will and testament of John Oliver, deceased was produced in court and proven by oath of Joseph P. Belt one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, who also made oath
that the names of John C. Herndon and Osburn Belt the other subscribing witnesses were subscribed as such in the presence and in presence of the testator, which will is
ordered to be recorded, whereupon the same hath been duly admitted to record in my office.
