14 In the name of God Amen, I David Driskell of Franklin County, Kentucky being in a debilitated State of health but of a sound mind and disposing memory do make this my last will & testament in manner and form as follows to wit. Item 1st I will that all my Lawful debts be paid out of such of my Estate as can in the Judgment of my Executors be best spared. Item 2and I bequeath unto my beloved wife Polly Driskill the house and lott on which I now reside together with a negro girl named Mary during her life and after her death I bequeath the same unto my children Joseph William Driskill, Malinda Driskell, Jephthah Driskell and the offspring of which my said wife is no Pregnant together with the increase which said negro Mary may have to be equally divided among them and their heirs forever. But should the increase of said negro if any she should have, be (in the opinion of my Executors) conveniently spared from the possession of my said wife during her life then it is my will that my children above mentioned and provided for should have their equal Interest in said Increase as they become of age. And lastly I do constitute[?] and appoint Joseph W. Mizner and my beloved wife Polly Driskell my Executor and Executrix to put the same into effect, Thereby acknowleding this to be my last will & testament. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8th day of September A.D. 1826 David Driskell
