In the name of God amen. I William C. Blanton being in a low state of health but of sound mind and disposing memory, do make this my last will and testament.

1st  It is my will, that my beloved wife Mary R. Blanton shall have the whole of my property of every kind to be used for the support of herself and my children.

2d  It is my will that all of my property shall be appraised by my friends Wm. Tallie, Preston Blakemore and Samuel B. Scofield and that my wife may dispose
of so much of the same at public or private sale as shall pay all of my just debts, if she finds it necessary for the accomplishment of that object to sell any of
my slaves. I will her to sell my negro woman Eliza.

3d  I wish each of my children as soon as they marry or become of age to have their proportion of my estate after reserving one third of the same to my wife as
her dower right.  4th It is my will should my wife marry at any time that she select and the County Court appoint a Guardian for such of my children as are not
married or of age to manage their proportion of my estate after as above mentioned  my wifes dower shall have been allotted her.

5th  It is my will at the death of my wife that her third of my estate shall be equally divided between all of my children. 6th  It is my will that my mother remain
with my wife so long as she may think proper and that she shall not be charged more for board for the time she may choose to remain than she has been
accustomed to pay heretofore. 7th  It is my will that especial attention shall be paid to my negro man Sam he is not to be sold out of the family and never to be
hired out during my wifes lifetime.  8th It is my will that my wife shall counsel with my friend Wm. Tallie and be advised by him in all cases in which she may
feel at a loss about the manner in which she should act. 9th  It is my will that my wife shall be my executrix to this my last will & testament and that she shall
not be required to give security to the County Court for the performance of her duties as executrix.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of the Revd. William C. Blanton, decd.. Was produced in Court and was proven by the oaths of R T Coleman
and William H. Wright two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. Whereupon the said will is truly recorded in my office.
