Emily Duncan Gordon

This is a tin type photo of Emily Duncan, born in Franklin County, Kentucky in August of 1843.  She died
on August 16, 1902 in Shelby County, Kentucky.  Emily was the daughter of Augustine J. Duncan, who was
born 1804 in Garrard County, Kentucky, but lived in Franklin County for 30 years until his death sometime after
1870.  Emily Duncan married William Y. Gordon.  William was born in Franklin County, Kentucky on July 10, 1836
and died there on September 27, 1885.  They had seven children, who grew up in Franklin County, Kentucky


Thomas Victor Gordon, son of William and Emily, born July 22, 1870 in Franklin County, Kentucky, died November 21, 1937
Shelby County, who is shown with his wife Cynthia Ann Jones.  After their marriage they lived in Shelby County, Kentucky
where they raised nine children.
