Miss Isabell Adkins of Los Angeles Dies
Miss Isabell Adkins, Los Angeles, died at her home there according to work received her by her aunt, Mrs. Lou Martin,
306 W. Stewart Street.  She haed been ill with tuberculosis for four months prior to her death.  She is survived by one
brother, Ira L. Adkins, Los Angeles with whom she made her home; two aunts, Mrs. Lou Martin and Mrs. Cynthia
Shipp, West Market Street; one uncle, J. R. Sacrey, South Oak Street and several cousins.

Mrs. Sarah Sacry at Holder Home
Mrs. Sarah Jane Sacry, 73, died at her home in Holder at 11:30 a.m. Sunday following an illness of a year.  She was
formerly Sarah Jane Blair, born in Joliet, January 16, 1859, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Blair.  She was
married 1886 to Ed Sacry, who died in 1926.  She is survived by three children; Ella, Willy and Frank and nine
grandchildren, all of Holder.  She leaves also the following brothers and sisters, William Blair, Cropsey; Mrs. Anna
Spencer, Cooksville; Frank and Thomas Blair, Holder; George Blair, Bowling Green, Ohio and Joseph Blair, 705 Market
Street, Bloomington.  The funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Holder home and 9:30 at St. Patricks Church
at Merna.  Burial will be made in Bentown Cemetery.

Joseph Newman
Relatives here have received word of the death of Mr. Joseph Newman of Switzer, Kentucky.  Deceased was a member
of one of the pioneer families of Kentucky and was one of the respected members of the community in which he lived.  
He was 71 year of age.  Death was the result of dropsy.  Mr. Newman is survived by his wife, four daughters, and five
sons and several relatives in this state among are:  Mrs. Cynthia Dailey of South East Street; Miss Louise Martin of
West Stewart Street; James R. Sacrey of South Oak Street; Edgar Sacrey of Bentown, Illinois.  There are three
grandchildren; Mrs. Maude Meeker of Colfax; Mr. Harry Newton and Earl Newton of Cropsey.


(NOTE:  Harry and Earl both had the surnames Newnam/Newman, not Newton)

Robert Sacry died November 12, 1866

Sytha Sacry died October 17th 1907

Isabelle Adkins died July 6, 1930
