David Milton Griffin & others
David Milton Griffin, (left) retiring from the railroad in Estill Co. on March 5, 1949 after 39 years and 3 mos. of service. His son, my grandfather, James Daniel Griffin is in the middle. I do not know the identity of the man on the right. The radio he was presented that day sits on a shelf in my living room next to the photo.

Mary Lynch Griffin
Marian believes this to be a photograph of Mary Lynch Griffin, but is not positive. If anyone can confirm this, please contact Marian.
Mary Lynch Griffin was the daughter of John Duke Lynch and Edith (Eady or Eda) Hoover, born in Estill County. She married Jesse Lynch. Her cousin, Ari Ingram, married Jesse's brother, Charles. Both couples are found living with the brother's mother's house on the 1870 Estill County Census. They are later found on the 1880 Lee County Census.
