Louvisa Elkin Curtis
Wife for 55 years to James Madison Curtis of which three children were born Livie, Nancy, and Salem. Also three children by first marriage to Robert Barnett, (Milton, Julia and George). Louvisa was granddaughter of James Elkin, Sr. who served as a ranger and spy in the Rev. War 1776—80.
Louvisa was my great grandmother.

James Madison Curtis
Born Jan 5, 1845 to Ann Sullivan and John J. Curtis. Married first Susanna Dickerson and had one child John William 1870. Married second Louvisa Elkin and had three children Livie 1876, Nancy 1879 and Salem 1882.
James was my great grandfather
