(School Teacher) Taught in one room schools in Estill County, Kentucky. She stayed with a Hymer family and rode a horse to Happy Top school. Someone in the Hymer family had killed a Collins and she had children of both families in the school. A fight broke out between the Collins children and the Hymers. The teacher was hit by a piece of wood and that ended the children fighting. |
