Rootsweb/Ancestry
You'll find
a message board for every county in Kentucky
on the RootsWeb server.
In addition there are numerous regional
and special topic boards, a board for "Unknown" county
[you know the state but not the county],
and thousands of surname boards. Many
of these boards are gatewayed [automatically
forwarded] to the corresponding mail
list when there is one available. Post
your query and read what others have
posted.
Some
of these boards are
the official query
boards for the Kentucky
counties. Most of
the county coordinators
have elected to use
the RootsWeb boards,
however some use
the boards on another
server or a different
manner of posting
your queries so be
sure to check the
county pages too.
