Woodard Jarvis: Photo taken while he served in the United States during World War II. Woodard was a Private in the United States Army. He enlisted on March 1, 1941 in Fort Thomas/Newport, Kentucky. At the time of his enlistment, he was single, and without dependents. His later marriage to Lydia Pearl Mills would produce one child, Woodie Joan Jarvis. Woodard was murdered in Clay County on July 26, 1946. He was twenty-six years old at the time of his death [B. 9-20-1919].
