A more noble Christian woman never lived.  Her face was an index to her character, and love and kindness was shown in every feature.  To her husband in his grief we give the best sympathy that we can.  We know that we cannot appreciate his loss.  If we could we would lessen the sorrow of the only child, Mrs. Venable; but what we say will have little effect on their sorrowing hearts.
