Elsie Clay Pasley Wells, 95, formerly of Winchester, widow of
Willis Wells, died at 2:45 a.m. Monday at the North Hardin
Rehabilitation and Convalescent Home, Radcliff.
A native of Clark County, she was the daughter of the late
Thomas and Ollie Cooper Pasley. She was a homemaker and a
retired employee of Rose�s Department Store and a member of
Ephesus Baptist Church.
Survivors include a doughtier and son in law, Patricia Durham
and Rev. David Lyons of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren and
their spouses, Susan Wells and Bill Martin of Olympia, Wash.;
Mark and Marty Wells of Bend, Ore.; Beverly Durham and Michael
Phillips of Owensboro; Rebecca Durham and the Rev. John Smith of
Upton; David R. Durham of Owensboro; the Rev. Daniel R. and
Leslie Durham of Campbellsville; Michael D. and Tara Lyons of
Salyersville; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Scobee
Funeral Home by the Rev. John E. Smith, the Rev. Dan Durham and
the Rev. Dale Hampton. Burial will be in the Winchester
Cemetery.
Greatgrandsons will be pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of
service.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Ephesus
Baptist church, Stoner-Ephesus Road, Winchester, KY 40391.
