Dora J. Wells, 87, of 1692 White-Turley Road, widow of
Leonard Wells, died at 12:14 p.m. Monday at her home.
A native of Clark County, she was the daughter of the late
Raymond and Betty J. Jordan. She was a former employee of Loma
Manufacturing Company and farmer. She was a member of the Pharis
Hill Christian Church.
Survivors include a stepson, James Earl Wells, Okeechobee,
Fla.; a stepgrandson, Larry Wells, Winchester; two
stepgranddaughters, LaDonna Rowe and Yvonne Milligan,
Winchester; four step-greatgrandchildren, two sisters and a
brother-in-law, Dolly and Eugene Baker, Clark County, and Nancy
Wiggins, Mt. Sterling; three brothers and two sister-sin-law,
James Jordan, Dillard and Ella Mae Jordan and Sidney and Barbara
Jordan, Clark County, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Scobee
Funeral
Home by Bro. Alan Epperson. Burial will be in the Winchester
Cemetery.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. today.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Pharis Hill
Christian Church, Irvine Road, Winchester, Ky. 40391.
