James W. Bowie

James W. Bowie, the painter who fell at Pepper's distillery Saturday afternoon
sustaining fatal injuries, died at midnight Monday night at his
home, No. 82 Driscoll street.
Mr. Bowie had been subject to fainting and was supposed to have
become termorarily unconscious and fallen from his scaffold
Sunday.
The funeral services will take place at the residence at 3
o'clock this afternoon, Rev. I.J. Spencer officiating. He
leaves two sons, James W., Jr. and John B. Bowie.
