I Daniel Harrison of the County of Clarke and state of Kentucky do make &
publish this as and for my last will and
testament-
I Give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Anna Harrison one hundred acres of
the land on which I now live to include my mansion house and mill for and during her natural life to be laid off
in a convenient figure having respect to the residue of the tract-
I also give and bequeath unto my said wife my negro woman Suckey and her four children, four horsed, eight cows
thirty sheep twenty hogs, and as much of my household and kitchen furniture as may be necessary for her use
including my silver plate, and as much of my gear and farming utensils as may be necessary to carry on her farm
for and during her natural life with remainder over to such of my children as my said wife may choose to give it
to at her death. It being my wish and intentions that my wife should have the privilege to will and give the
personal property herein bequeathed her to such of my children as she may choose but to no other person or
persons except my children ( The slaves
being considered as personal property.)
I give and bequeath unto my six children all the residue of my personal Estate and slaves to be equally divided
among them, which together with the slaves I have heretofore given them is to belong to them and their issue
forever. And any of my slaves that are of age who may not wish to remain with the family are to be sold to the
highest bidder and the price divided as above.
It is my will and desire that all the residue of my lands be sold by me Executors herein after appraised
(unclear) and the proceeds of sale equally divided among my said six children the lands to be sold upon such
credits as in the judgment of my Executers may command the best price. Having the purchase money will secured
and reserving the legal title until the purchase money is paid, and for the purpose of enabling my said
Executors to sell and deed said lands. I hereby bequeath said land to my Executors and invest them with the
legal title and at the death of my wife it is my will and desire that the land herein bequeathed her be also
sold by my Executors and the price thereof equally divided among my said children.
I hereby constitute and appoint my friends Isaac Cunningham & Thomas A Moore my Executors of this my last
will and testament. In witness of all which I have hereunto set my name and affixed my seal this 20th day of
July 1821.

The following is a codicil to my last will & testament Viz, it is my will and desire that in case my wife
shall survive me, that she have in addition to the bequests in said will contained my carriage and harness to be
disposed of by her in the manner which said will directs the other personal property bequeathed
to her so be disposed of July 21st 1821.

This last will and testament of Daniel Harrison Deceased was produced in court and proven according to law by
the oaths of William Miller and Chilton Allan witnesses inhereto subscribed, also the codicil in hereto amended
was proven by the oath of Samuell M. Taylor another witness inhereto & abscribed and ordered to be recorded.
