U S Air Force veteran of WWII and formerly owned and operated
Grinstead's Market. Co-owner of the Wells-Grinstead Insurance Company in
Glasgow. Charter member Glasgow County Club, Past President of the
Glasgow Lions Club, past member Glasgow City School Boartd, former
member board of the Horse Cave Theater and participated in the "Far Off
Broadway Players". Graduate and fan of the University of Kentucky,
presently serves as a commissioner with the Glasgow Water Company.
Survivors:
Wife: Emily "Sib" Grinstead
Sons: Chris II of Bowling Green and Philip Grinstead and wife Ruth of
Glasgow.
Daughter: Linda Lancaster and husband Jack of Frankfort, KY
6 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

Brother: Robert Grinstead
Sisters: Violett Depp, Mary Elizabeth Templeton and Geneva
Hinzerling.
Services: 5 pm Saturday, 23 Sept 2000, A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home,
Glasgow, cremation.
