Edmund Rogers, the Virginian who was sent into this area to lay out the land that had been appropriated for the soldiers and officers of the Revolutionary War, kept all his surveys in a huge book. This information is taken from my book on the Edmund Rogers and Daniel Curd surveys (he the county surveyor).
