William Wilkinson Jr. to Joseph S. Berry

This Indenture made the tenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and
Sixteen between William Wilkinson Jr. and Anny
his Wife of the County of Barren and State of Kentucky of the one part
and Joseph S. Berry of the County and State aforesaid of the
other part. Witnesseth that the said William Wilkinson Jr. and
Anny his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of five
hundred dollars to them on hand paid by the said Joseph S.
Berry the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged, hath granted
bargained and sold unto the said Joseph S. Berry one certain
tract or parcel of land containing two hundred acres lying and being in the said
county of berrin on the south site of Skaggs Creek being a headright settlement
entered Surveyed and Patented in the name of William Wilkinson
and bounded as follows, viz, Beginning at a Chestnut Beech and Dogwood thence
East one hundred and eighty poles to a Chestnut Beech and white Oak and two
Dogwoods thence North one hundred and Eighty poles to a Beech and two dogwoods
thence West one hundred and eighty poles to two Beeches and a hickory thence
South one hundred and eighty poles to the Beginning and the said William
Wilkinson and Anny his wife doth by these presents
warrant and forever defend the same against themselves their Heirs and all and
every other person or persons whatsoever.
In Testimony where of they have hereunto set their hand and Seals this day and
year above written.

This Indenture to Joseph S. Berry was Acknowledged before me in
Office by the said Wilkinsen party Thereto to be his act and Deed and thereupon
The said Indenture was admitted to Record.
