Isaac Moore & Robert McGown to John White
15 December 1837
This Indenture made and entered into this 15th day of December 1837 Between
Robert McGown and Isaac Moore of the one part
and John White of the other part Witnesseth that the said
Robert McGown and Isaac Moore of and in
consideration of the sum of One hundred and Twenty-five dollars to them in hand
paid by the said White the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged has this day bargained and sold to the said John
White a certain tract or parcel of land it being the same tract
deeded to us by Tho. Scott and Known to Saunders Old (?) in the
County of Barren And state of Kentucky on the waters of Sinking Creek and is
bounded as follows Beginning at a white Oak black oak & Hickory the Hickory
(?) down Samuel Scotts Corner thence N 20 E 66 poles to a large
black Oak and Chestnut in a line of John Wilson (?) of
Aaron Gage thence with his line N 56 W 100 poles to his Corner
White Oak Hickory & dogwood thence N 37 W 120 poles to a post oak at the
edge of and Old field a conditions Corner to Robert Majors
thence with a conditional line 25 West 58 poles along the old road to a
rock in One of the original lines thence With the same S 70 E 200 poles to the
Beginning including one hundred acres to the same More or less, to have and to
hold the aforesaid land and (?) into the said White his heirs and forever and
the said Robert MCGown and Isaac Moore doth
and will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid land and premises from
themselves, their heirs and assigns and from all and any other person or persons
whatsoever. In Witness Whereof Robert McGown and Isaac
Moore have hereunto set their hands and Seals this day and date above
Written.

State of Kentucky Barren County To wit:
I Thomas J. Hehn Clerk of the County Court for the county
aforesaid do certify that this deed from Robert McCown and
Isaac Moore to John White made on this day
first dated to me in my office and acknowledged by the aid
McCown and Moore to (?) act and deed whereupon
the same together with the Certificate here to be admitted to record in my
Office. Given under my hand this 18th day of December 1837.
