Nathan & Sylvana Moore to James E. Dishman
2 December 1843
This Indenture made this 2nd day of December 1843 between Nathan
Moore of Barren County of the one part and James E.
Dishman of the other part witnesseth that the said
Moore for & in Consideration of the sum of Five hundred
dollars to him in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged has
granted, bargained & Sold and by these presents grant bargain & sell to
said Dishman a tract of land lying & being in Barren County
Ky. In the Barrens near the Three forks being the tract Conveyed to Said
Moore by John Perkins & bounded as
follows: beginning at four Post Oaks & two hickories thence S13W. about 95
poles to a post oak thence with the original line of Survey West 190 poles to
two hickories & two Post Oaks thence North 10 East about 95 poles to three
Post Oaks thence East 190 poles to the beginning Containing 100 acres more or
less being part of or one half of a two hundred acre Survey patented to
John Allen on the first day of July 1816. To have and to hold
said tract of Land and appurtenances to said Dishman & his
heirs forever, and the said Moore agrees to warrant &
defend the title to said tract of land unto said Dishman against all Claims
whatever. In testimony whereof the said Moore has hereunto set his hand &
seal the day and year first written.

Certify that this deed from Nathan Moore and
Sylvana his wife to James E. Dishman was on the 2nd
day of December 1843 acknowledged before me by the said Moore to be Recorded.
