Whereas in an action of Mary Wade and others. Plaintiffs
against Ina Bogan Administrator of the estate of Samuel
Lawler de’cd and other defendants were pending in the
Simpson circuit court. Our order was entered at the August term 1870 _____
the undersigned a special commissioner to convey to Sarah Munday the tract
of land mentioned in the title bond of Sarah Lawler to
Sarah Munday file in said suit marked A said land lying and
being in the county of Barren and said to contain one hundred and fifty five
acres being the same tract of land in which said Sarah
Munday and her husband R. H. Munday now lives.
Now therefore the indenture made and entered into the 30th day of August
1870 between J. W. Lawler, Mary E. Wade,
Henry Wade, A. E. Robey, Thos
Robey, N. _. Lawler, H. C.
Lawler, S. F. Lawler, S. N.
Lawler, Thos C. Clayhill and E. S.
Clayhill by John L . Stanford Commissioner as
aforesaid of the first part and Sarah Munday of the second
part, Witness to;
that for and in consideration of the premises and in obedience to said
order, the parties of the first part by John L Stanford
Commissioner aforesaid do hereby convey to said party of the second part and
her heirs and assigns the tract of land mentioned in the title bond of
Samuel Lawler to Sarah Munday filed in
said suit and marked A being the same tract of land in which Sarah Munday
and R. H. Munday now lives lying and being in the county of Barren and state
of Kentucky and supposed to contain one hundred fifty five acres.
To have and to hold the same unto the appertenances[as written] unto the
party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever and the party of th
first part by J. L. Stanford Commissioner aforesaid hereby
____ unto the party of the second part, that they will warrant and defend
the title to the tract of land hereby conveyed against the claims of
themselves, their heirs and assigns forever.

As presiding Judge of the Simpson Circuit court, this is to certify that I
have examined within deed ___ J. L. Stanford Com. And in open court, __ the
same current, approved the same, and order it to be certified by the Clerk of
the Court for record- this August 30th 1870.

This deed from J. L. Stanford Com. Of court to Sarah Munday was this day
produced in open court by said Com. And acknowledged by him- and was ordered
and approved by the court and ordered to be certified to the proper offices
for record.

I, J. P. Nuckols, clerk of the county court for
said County do certify that the forgoing deed from J. L. Stanford Commissioner
to Sarah Munday was on the 24th day of September 1870 filed in my office for
record. Whereupon the same together with the testimonials of acknowledgment
and approval therein entered and this certificate have been recorded.
