| This Deed of Commerance from William L.
Burris to John Tyler Deweese Wittnesseth
that the said Burris has this day Bargained and sold
unto the Said Deweese a certain tract or parcel of
Land in Barren County Ky and waters of Barren Fork Containing fifty
acres at twelve Dollars per acre amounting to Six hundred dollars four
hundred dollars in hand Paid the reciept of which is acknowleged and
the Remainder which is twi hundred dollars to Be Paid at Eighteen
months from this date which survey is Bounded as follows Begining at a
stake 14 Links South of a Stone thence North 92 Poles to a Stone
Course 20 poles to an Elm thence South 85 E 61 1/2 poles to a white
oak & hickory thence South 71 E 22 1/2 Poles to a white oak on a
Dry Branch thence South 42 1/2 poles to a small white oak thence west
13 1/2 poles to a stake in a field thence South 60 poles to a small
Black oak in James Shirley's line thence west 68
poles to the Beginning Containing fifty acres to have and to hold unto
the Said Deweese and his heirs and the Said
Burris Doth hereby sell alien and convey Said Boundry
unto Said Deweese with Covenant of General warrenty in Testimony
whereof Said Burris and wife have this 30th day of
July 1874 Set Their hands and Seal a lien is retained on this Land
until paid for
