Mary Ann Tompkins
Pierce, was born
Jan. 27, 1831 in
Johnson County,
Tenn. Moved to
Overton County,
Tenn with her
parents. In 1850 she
professed religion
and joined the
Baptist Church. On
March 3, 1856
she married S. B.
Pierce and was the
mother of 8
children, two of
them died. She had
17 grandchildren,
3 of them died.
Also, she had 2
brothers and 1
sister.
E. A. Tompkins was
born in Overton
County, Tennessee.
In 1822 he moved to
Rosedale, Kansas and
lived
there until April 5,
1904. He then moved
to Beaver County,
Okla. On December
10, 1906 he died.
