This is believed to have been compiled by one the descendants of the Tolle family, it was found in the family files of the Tolle family maintained by the late Eva Coe Peden. The numbering is as shown.

Roger Tolle was born February 4, 1742; died Aug 3, 1814 Barren Co. Roger Tolle married Sally Sims about 1782; she died at birth of Alexander, her second, son, about 1787.

William Tolle, first son born Oct. 2nd, 1785.
Alexander Tolle, second son, born about 1787.

William Tolle married March 15, 1804 Polly Turner. Children:

1. First son, born Feb. 3rd 1805; died Feb. 3rd, 1805.

2. Samuel Belle Tolle was born Feb 24th 1806; d. April 19th 1868.

3. Alexander Roger Tolle was born Oct. 22nd 1807; d. July 25th 1867 of a fever.

4. Ann Elize Tolle was born Oct. 30th 1809; died July 25th 1867 of phthsic. Married William A. Snoddy

5. Martha Jane Tolle was born March 13, 1811; d. Jan. 7th 1847 of abortion. Married in MO Benjamin A. Snoddy.

6. Sally Sims Tolle was born Aug. 10th 1812; d. Feb 21 or 22nd 1874 of heart disease near Shepharadsville, Ky. Married John Neagle.

7. Twin sister born Aug. 10th 1812; d. Aug 10, 1812.

8. John Turner Tolle was born January 21st 1814; died in spring or summer of 1847 at Chihauhua, Mexico in the Service of the United States
in the Mexican War.

9. A son born Jan. 7th 1816; d. Jan 9th 1816.

10. George Washington Tolle was born May 9th 1817; died in 1847 or 1848.

11. A son born March 20th 1819; died March 20th 1819.

12. Patrick Henry Tolle born July 13th 1820; died winter of 1861 or 62 near Yorktown, Virginia in Military Service of the confederate states.

13. Bailey Turner Tolle was born July 13th 1820; died Oct. 4th 1875 of fever.

14. A son born December 28th 1821; died Dec. 28, 1821.

15. A daughter was born July 16th 1823; died July 16th 1823.  Polly Tolle, first wife of William Tolle died July 29th1823 aged 40 years, of disease incident to childbirth.  William Tolle married (2) June 9th 1825 Martha Jane Snoddy, born Feb. 27th 1805.Their children:

16. Thomas Bransford Tolle born Feb. 1st 1826.

17. James Madison Tolle was born December 31st 1827; died Jan. 17th 1863 of wounds received at the battle of Stone River while service in
Co F 21st Reg KY Inft Vol, War with the Rebellion.

18. Horatio Nelson Tolle was born Jan. 24th 1830; died July 23rd 1854 of flux, at home.

19. Elizabeth Susan Fowler Tolle was born April 16th 1832; married William M. Mansfield

20. William Daniel Tolle was born Oct. 16th 1834; died June 11th 1927.

21. Nancy Parrot Tolle was born December 1st, 1836, died Sept 24th 1902 suddenly of heart disease in Barren Co. Ky. Buried in Tolle-
Snoddy graveyard.

22. Adrastus Minns Tolle was born May 22nd 1839; died May 19th 1866 of lung trouble; he entered in Co F 21 KY Vol Inft on the 1st of October
1861 and served until Jan. 1866. Was engaged in the following battles: Stone River, Rocky Face, Kingston, Rasacca, Dallas, Pine Mountains,
Kenesaw Mountains, Atlanta, Jonesboro, Franklin and Nashville. In addition to the above he was on the skirmish line nearly all the time on the Atlanta Campaign which lasted about four months.

23. A Daughter was born Oct. 14th 1841; died Oct. 14th 1841.

24. A son was born March 1842; died March 1842.

25. Senora Jane Tolle was born June 17th 1843.

26. Virginia Louisa Tolle was born Oct 19th 1845; died Dec 16th 1905. Married to Marcus F. King.

27. Judith Mariah Tolle was born Oct. 27th 1848. Married to Cooper Garner.

William Tolle died September 27th 1854 of hard swelling of the jaw which was very excraciation (excrutiating) and lasted several months.

Martha Jane Tolle died Dec. 24th 1859 of parlysis. She was confined about four months.
