Susanna Groom,

Groom and Susanna,
his wife was born
August 25, 1790.
James Frazier died
July 18, 1849, age
seventy seven years,
five months and
eighteen days.

After the death of
his wife, Robert
Madison Groom, who
lived about five
miles from Richmond,
VA, came to TN to
take up land. He
located about where
Nashville now
stands. The
transaction not
being completed on
his first trip,
he went back home to
see about his
family. He started
back later to
complete
the transaction, and
was supposedly
killed by the
Indians as he was
never
heard from again. He
had eight children,
all boys except
Susanna who married
James Frazier. He
came to Barren Co.
KY and brought Enoch
Madison Groom, her
youngest brother,
with her.
