The Allen County Courthouse burned in October 1902. Records which survived that fire are listed below. The burned and charred documents have been preserved in sealed, acid free plastic binders so you have access to the original records without damaging them. Records beyond 1902 are numerous and easily accessed. Research materials formerly found at the Allen County Public Library are now located in the Genealogy Room, at the Allen County Courthouse.
